This is a personal case study of Nature Cleanse. For general information on what Nature Cleanse is, see section under GENERAL INFORMATION.
I’ve been seeing or hearing buzz about Nature’s Cleanse natural colon cleansing product around the internet, a quick search turns up a bunch of different posts and or resources; like is it a scam? It would appear that most of these sites asking whether it’s a scam or not are then selling some type of product marketed as Natures Cleanse or some type of colon cleanse product – like Advanced Colon; or at least something along those lines. I even found several sites with ads which had pictures of Nature Cleanse but when you clicked on the ad it took you to another site, one of those “enter your information and we’ll send you a free sample” type deals.
I like to think of FREE as falling in two categories: 1) either the product is so amazingly good, that the company knows you’ll come back and pay for more eventually, or 2) it ain’t free!! Generally #2 is most likely the reality!
It’s all quite confusing actually but I really don’t think it has to be!
The confusion, from what I can tell from some searching, is there apparently was/is a site or company out there who was causing some unsatisfied customers. Sounds like the whole “bait and switch” routine where they promise to send a free trial then charge your credit card anyway.
I found the actual product “Nature Cleanse” on Amazon and figured I’d do something simple, order it myself and try it.
I ordered Nature Cleanse from Amazon for $8.95 + $5.24 for shipping, totaling $14.19. I think most of the controversies around the various aspects of this product come from the “FREE” samples or sites which offer to send you a free sample, then get you with a re-occurring fee or something like that (maybe you only pay for shipping with your credit card or something, who knows). Note, this is the Nature Cleanse Botanicleanse. For a list of ingredients see below, also remember that all these products are basically the same thing. They’re supposed to cleanse your colon and help get rid of the extra weight that we “supposedly” have stuck or compacted in our colon. I know, nice thought huh?
OK, this got me to thinking again about this product once I got confirmation from Amazon that it was on its way. I noticed that the only customer review on Amazon was that the company scammed them out of money saying:
“Do not purchase any products by Nature Cleanse, they do not work and they refused to issue a cancellation on the product after evaluating it for 2 weeks like the ad states! This is not a legit company!”
And now I’m thinking that I’m an idiot for trying it. But since it’s listed on Amazon, surely it’s an actual product right? So why is there only one review on Amazon saying “Don’t by it, it’s a scam…”? Seems odd that there would be only ONE review. Well, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see if I actually get this product in the mail. I’m not too worried about them re-charging my credit card since I ordered through Amazon; I have faith that if some company was scamming people like that Amazon would kick them off in a heartbeat.
So I received my Nature’s Cleanse in the mail from Amazon a few days later, 90 tablets. Oh, and *** secretly *** I was hoping to get my wife to test these but figured if she wasn’t willing then I would do it. But she opted to try it out so the initial test will be on her.
Note: This product and review is for Nature Cleanse Botanicleanse.

THE TEST!!!!
My wife’s movements (from here we’ll be referring to them as BM) prior to taking Nature Cleanse were pretty irregular. Meaning, as she puts it, constipated. Something she has struggled with quite frequently.
Starting Weight: 142.2 lbs. on Day 1
She started off with 1 tablet twice a day: morning and night. We figured we’d go with the minimum dosage and move it up starting week two if nothing significant happens. I figured I’d just start a little journal and add daily entries as we moved along
Day 1: Nothing. Which we really didn’t expect.
Day 2: Hey, we have a BM! Ok, this is funny stuff in a way I guess (although not really if you’re always constipated), but she did have a more natural BM… soft and as she put it while standing at the top of the stairs while I’m typing this in the basement, “fulfilling.” So far so good considering she’d been consistently constipated prior.
Day 3: Tonight my wife mentioned she felt “fuller” and not quite as hungry and didn’t feel the need to eat as much for dinner. She also mentioned that she felt more energetic and didn’t seem to have her usual afternoon energy crash. After we ate dinner and put away the dishes I inquired about her daily BM’s and her response was, “right as rain!” OK, I think she’s enjoying this a little too much.
Day 4: OK, I must admit I was skeptical about this product… come on, colon cleansing, weight loss. But last night my wife decided to up the dosage to three a day. Her BM’s have been more normal and consistent. This morning she informed me (via instant message) she’s down 2 pounds from where she started just 3 days ago.
Here is the actually instant message conversation we just had:
Sent at 8:06 AM on Friday
Emily: 140.2!!!
Me: woo hoo!
Emily: yeah–cant wait to be in the 130′s again the pills have been making me make better choices in food too
Me: how’s that?
Emily: just more conscious and fuller
Me: r u doing three a day now or waiting till one week is up?
Emily: yesterday did three
Me: OK
Emily: good poop again, yay on a roll – no pun hehehehehehe
OK, she’s enjoying this way too much. But then I’ve always been pretty regular so I can’t relate. I also don’t know how much of this could be the placebo effect… but regardless it seems to be doing something.
Day 5: Pretty regular today, nothing major to report. The feeling of fullness has been commented on a couple times. Not sure if that is due to the Nature Cleanse but it seems to be making her feel fuller and not quite as hungry.
Day 6: Not much to report today. One BM but not real fulfilling… at least not “right as rain.” The initial excitement seems to be wearing off as well. At least Nature Cleanse and it’s effects are not the topic du jour like that had been previously.
Day 7: It’s been one week today and Emily weighed in this morning at 138.6
Over the next 5 days, Emily experienced softer stools and even some pretty intense diarrhea on a few days. However, we’re not sure if this was form Nature Cleanse or from something else. She remained on three pills a day for 5 more days but eventually stopped taking it. End weight, 137.8
Conclusion:
Overall I would say the claims made about weight loss are fairly valid, but as with any diet supplement, results are going to vary. In all, Emily tried Nature Cleanse Colon Cleanse for 12 days and lost a total of a little over 4 lbs (4.4 to be exact). Granted that’s not a ton of weight loss, but it is something and considering she only did it for twelve days. We had to travel and staying on the pills any longer would have been pretty inconvenient. She has mentioned several times that she want’s to do the nature cleanse method again. One of the other benefits of the product is it seemed to have curbed her appetite somewhat as well. She wasn’t working out at all during this time period either and is eager to try the product again with a regular fitness workout and see the results then.
Over all, Emily was fairly pleased with the product and would/will use it again.

If you’re not familiar with what colon cleansing is, here’s a few hundred words of unique content telling you all about it:
If swimsuit season is looming and you are interested in losing a small amount of weight, like less than twenty pounds, but have not found that diet and exercise are producing the desired result, there are several products on the market designed to enhance and intensify the digestive system. These products increase metabolism, making your consumption of foods easier to digest and producing more power, resulting in less weight gain and more energy throughout the day. One of these products is called Nature Cleanse, a colon cleaner that uses an all natural formula to assist in moderate weight loss. If you are looking for more serious approaches to losing large amounts of fat, then Nature Cleanse is not strong enough, but for the slightly over weight, it can be a great addition to a regimen of diet and exercise to burn a few pounds.
Nature Cleanse is a tablet with a high dosage of fiber and chromium, resulting in an accelerated production of the human digestive system. As a result, customers taking this supplement will find themselves going to the bathroom much more frequently than before — as many as five times per day — as the stomach and intestines power the fat burning and turn it into natural waste. Some customers have found this embarrassing, while others do not have a problem with the increased rates of using the bathroom; decide if your job or schedule can accommodate the demands of Natures Cleanse. Customers should take a tablet three times a day, so that they can continually have the flushing effect through their body.
Colon cleansing is usually a popular choice for weight loss given the all natural formula and ease of use. Many customers find they can lose thirty or even fifty pounds without altering their diet and exercise routines when they add a colon cleanser, without investing considerable funds into personal trainers, costly food schedules, or even surgery. A two-week supply costs only ninety dollars, so it is an affordable option for those who cannot put the amount of time needed into a complete workout routine, which can take several hours a week for six to ten months.
There are no side effects from colon cleansing other than increased rates of going to the bathroom; unlike many diet pills that rely on a chemical concoction there are no artificial or synthetic ingredients in Nature Cleanse; no cases of headaches or nausea or other symptoms of some diet pills have yet been reported amongst customers of Nature Cleanse. Most agree that the pill works considerably well to aid in small amounts of weight loss. Those that purchased it expecting a larger scale solution for upwards of one hundred pounds of fat burning have been frustrated, though the product is clearly labeled to only be a smaller scale weight loss plan.
If you are interested in shedding a few excess pounds, Nature Cleanse could be the best option. A free trial set is available on the website, and the only payment needed is shipping and handling. (retracted due to personal research, see above case study)
